Well hello there music lovers!
We hope you're feeling festive and getting yourself into the Christmas spirit! It has certainly been a pretty special year for us and as the end of 2016 is in sight, we're feeling all nostalgic about some of the amazing venues we've been lucky enough to perform at and all the lovely people we've met along the way. Because although we're an acoustic wedding band based in Surrey, we get to go all over the country to places we'd never get to go to otherwise. Lucky us.
So we thought we'd share with you a few of this year's highlights, although if truth be told, there's been far too many to count!
We had a wonderful time back in the summer at The Prince of Wales Pub in London.
It was a pleasure to perform for such an attentive audience, and received such lovely compliments, which is always nice! We were also particularly impressed with the cake selection, with not one, not two but three delicious cakes... laid out in pride of place on the bar, we're amazed the bar staff managed to resist the temptation! They are stronger willed than us!!
One of our favourite weddings this year has to be that of Elizabeth and Richard Jackson who celebrated their nuptials at The George & Dragon Pub, Sevenoaks.
We had an absolute ball and particularly loved the sparkler send-off at the end of the night...so pretty.
We then headed down to beautiful Devon, and the truly gorgeous Ash Barton Estate. This Grade II listed grand manor in the North Devon Countryside is just stunning and such a perfect place to tie the knot!
And now to a photo that really needs no introduction. We performed for this fancy dress house party in Hampshire and the costumes were inspired! The camel was definitely our favourite!
And finally, one happy Bride and Groom at The Tournebury Woods Estate on Hayling Island. Seeing these newlyweds so happy makes our job the best job in the world!
From all of us in Live Lounge Band, we'd like to thank everyone who has booked us to perform at your wedding or event this year and wish you all a very merry Christmas. We can't wait to play for more of you in 2017!
